This weekend has suddenly brought in the winter weather and I feel we are definitely moving at steady speed to that exciting ‘C’ word (Christmas). Keep a look out on my blog over the next couple of weeks as I show you how to make a variety of homemade Christmas decorations!
But first, with the blustery gales, first frosts and crisp wintery cool air I felt a pub lunch calling my name. This afternoon we headed over to The Little Angel in Henley-on-Thames for one of their infamous Sunday lunches and a favourite among the Marshall clan. Please note this is not a hidden secret and if you are planning on going to The Little Angel on a Sunday then booking a table is essential.
There are so many delicious options to choose from on the menu, today we went for the Sunday Roast Beef and The Little Angel Oxfordshire Burger, for desert we shared the Cheese Board. Our table was in the Conservatory part of the pub which had a great atmosphere and buzz. It’s also light and airy yet cosy and comfortable.
My burger was better than I could have ever imagined and the roast beef was tender and flavoursome, accompanying it was the superfood Kale (something else on my to grow list for 2016).
